Come work for the BolderBOULDER, America’s All-Time Best 10K.  There are many temporary seasonal positions ready for energetic, upbeat candidates with the drive to offer the best customer experience in the world.   These positions are perfect for anyone who can’t wait to help out with a fun event and need something to pass the time before June plans kick in.  All jobs pay $10.30 per hour.  Perks include cool race swag and lunch time meals on us for several days leading up to the big event.  Some jobs start immediately.  Others start mid to late May.  All jobs continue through race day, Monday, May 29th, 2017.

Retail Specialist (SEASONAL)
The BolderBOULDER 10K Memorial Day Classic is looking for friendly, fun and semi-fanatical fans of the race to perform a variety of duties related to our retail store. Retail Specialists perform a variety of tasks associated with BolderBOULDER race registration and retail sales.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting customers; answering customer questions
  • Race registration, selling gear that people love
  • Monitoring and cheering on treadmill runners
  • POS duties: receiving and processing cash, checks and charge/credit payments, providing change and receipts; maintaining sales records
  • Arranging and displaying merchandise, keeping merchandise stocked and presentable, and taking inventory
  • Collaborating with team members
  • Other tasks as required to guarantee a successful operation

The BBStore seasonal jobs start April 17 and continue through race day, Monday, May, 29th, 2017. Full time availability including working some weekend shifts is a plus.

Candidate must be able to work Memorial Day weekend including Memorial Day.
Pay: $10.30/hr

Data Processing (SEASONAL)
Over 50,000 people register for the BolderBOULDER each year and many of those applications are filled out by hand. Help us help others run America’s All Time Best 10K! SEASONAL Data Processing employees assign bib numbers to properly place runners, joggers and walkers to their correct waves. Don’t know what waves are? Don’t worry, we’ll walk/run/jog you through it all!  Positions start mid-March and end race day, May 29th, 2017. Positions are part time to full time. The best candidates would have the capacity to work full time every day Monday through Friday.
However, there could be an opportunity to work part time if candidate’s schedule fits the need of the department. Please note, even part time employees are expected to work full time + if needed the week before the race, race weekend and race day, Monday, Memorial Day, May 29th, 2017. A portion of other weekends in May could be necessary.

Logistics Crews (SEASONAL)

Help make the race happen behind the scenes by performing various duties associated with race course logistics or working at the CU Stadium setting up and organizing the lunch distribution area and assisting with other tasks.

Logistics jobs are the backbone of the event, and at times provide a great physical workout. These temporary SEASONAL Logistics positions start mid-week the week before the race and continue through race day, Monday, May 29, 2017.  Some jobs continue through May 31, 2017.  The responsibilities of the job could require working more than 8 hours per day.

Minimum age is 18. The ideal candidate would be at least 21 years old.  All candidates must have a good driving record, and be in good physical condition.  Some lifting, dodging and moving heavy objects can be expected.  The ability to work well in a team environment is necessary. Working conditions vary from indoors with limited temperature control and outdoors in various weather conditions
