BOLDERBOULDER TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING

A lot of people will converge in Boulder on Memorial Day. Planning ahead will let you focus on your race instead of your commute.

Race Day and Pre-Paid Parking

If you are planning on driving to the race, first of all, we would like to encourage you to rideshare in order to reduce the impact of traffic within the city center.

For parking close to the start and finish lines, first, check out the interactive map above.

The CU campus has additional spots available south of Colorado Ave. and Regent Dr. Be sure to check out this information about where to park and permits on the CU Campus.

Pre-paid parking at CU is now available. Buy A Parking Pass »

Runner Drop Off
Your designated driver can drop you off near the start line at our runner drop-off area (see map). It is on the northbound 28th St. Frontage Road between Colorado Ave. and Arapahoe Ave. This area offers easy exit from the start area once you’re on your way.
Catch an RTD Bus
Whether you live in Boulder, Denver, Longmont or anywhere in between you can catch an RTD bus to the race. Check the RunRide schedule on the RTD website for updated bus information.
Bike to the Start
Both the start and finish areas are close to the Boulder Creek Path and biking to and from the race is a great option! New this year, Google will host BOLDERBoulder Bike Parking at their offices on 30th/Pearl. Bike parking at the Google bike racks is first-come, first-served and you must bring your own lock. The two entrances to Google Bike Parking are located just north of 30th/ Walnut on the west side of 30th, and on 30th/Pearl across the street from Whole Foods. Google Volunteers will be in the area to help you find your way and you can check out a Start Area Map here.

In addition to Google Bike Parking, there are many available bike racks at Twenty Ninth Street. The paths along 30th Street will be closed from 5am to 9:30am, but 29th Street provides an easy alternative.
